The inhabitants of Kamanyola, in Walungu territory, South Kivu, conducting commercial activities through the border posts of Kamanyola-Bugarama and Bukavu- Kamembe, are pleading for the easing of the measure closing the borders between the DRC and Rwanda from 3 pm. These people say they are experiencing great difficulties in carrying out their activities recently due to this measure.
The same situation affects traders who pass through Rwanda to reach Bukavu and Uvira. Indeed, in respect of this measure, these traders and even Rwandans conducting rural activities in Kamanyola, DRC, are forced to spend the night at the border with repercussions on their budget.
