The Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa has been authorized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host the 6th round match between the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Sudan on September 9.
According to multiple sources confirming this news, this authorization from the governing body of football in Africa is granted specifically for this match. Consequently, the match between Vita Club and Primeiro do Agosto, scheduled two weeks prior to the Leopards’ game, will also benefit from this grace period.
As a reminder, this iconic stadium in the Democratic Republic of Congo was inspected last week by CAF inspector Ivan Bayige after hosting the 9th edition of the Francophonie Games.
